Safe Birth. Even Here - Share the Good News

Nowhere in the world is the risk of dying in childbirth greater than in disaster settings. Here, one in five women are likely to be pregnant. Mothers and babies are cut off from health care and exposed to trauma, malnutrition, disease and violence - putting their lives in great danger.

Maternal deaths soar in disasters - yet they can be prevented. The international community must be made aware of the urgent needs of pregnant women in crises settings, so that more can be done to save lives. Please help us raise awareness, by sharing the good news of a safe delivery from a disaster location!
