Support pregnant women and newborns impacted by the floods in Pakistan

The Monsoon Floods in Pakistan are putting the lives of pregnant women and newborns at risk. The heavy rains that started in June have triggered flash floods and wreaked havoc across much of the country,

UNFPA teams are on the ground during natural disasters supporting pregnant women and newborns who have lost everything.

UNFPA is providing: 

  • Emergency maternal health services and kits to ensure pregnant women receive life-saving care and safe deliveries.
  • Mama Kits for new mothers and their newborns, which contains basics including diapers, clothes, blankets, and soap.
  • Dignity Kits for displaced women and girls that include the supplies needed to allow them to manage their menstruation with dignity.
  • Protection services to displaced women and girls, including survivors of violence.

UNFPA is committed to delivering life-saving services to those impacted by the floods in Pakistan.
