On 18 December, Typhoon Odette hit the Philippines and shattered tens of thousands of homes, leaving pregnant women and new mothers without shelter and protection. UNFPA estimates that women and girls have been among the most affected by the typhoon across the country. 

UNFPA teams are on the ground during the holidays to support pregnant women and girls who have lost everything.
