The consultation will inform development of a structured framework for addressing indigenous peoples issues in UNFPA’s operational activities and programmes in line with international human rights principles and standards. It aims to build consensus and common understanding on UNFPA’s engagement on indigenous peoples issues, the nature of its commitment, and the specific processes that guide its work with a view to elaborate the corporate strategy.
