The Position:

The Monitoring & Reporting Analyst will be working for Libya Country Office, based in the back-up office located in Tunis and will be requested to travel frequently to Libya and work closely with the Libya CO based in Tripoli.

The Monitoring & Reporting Analyst will establish and maintain collaborative relationships with counterparts in Government, UN system, UNFPA regional office and HQ, multi-lateral and bilateral donor agencies and civil society organizations.

You will report directly to The Programme Coordinator.

Job Purpose:

The position will be responsible for all aspects of programme reporting, including resource mobilization activities, based on information gathered from programme units. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of donor reporting and funding proposals and be closely involved in contributing to management issues, particularly as they relate to donor/external relations. The Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring the mainstreaming of Results-Based Management (RBM) across project documents and the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and tools to enable effective monitoring and analysis of programs and the identification of corrective measures during implementation.

Education: 

Advanced University Degree(Master) in Social Sciences, International Relations, Communication or related technical field.

Knowledge and Experience:

Minimum 2 Years progressively responsible and relevant professional work experience in humanitarian/situation reporting, report-writing, monitoring and evaluation or related field.

Relevant experience in emergency situations will be an asset.

Analytical and conceptual ability; communication skills.

Planning and monitoring skills; ability to organize work and projects.

Advanced knowledge of information technology tools and system a distinct advantage.

Languages:

Fluency in both written and spoken English and working knowledge of another UN language.
