The Programme Analyst is located in Lesotho Country Office, works under the overall guidance of the Representative and the direct supervision of the Assistant Representative. 

The Programme Analyst works collaboratively with the programme team as well as consultants, advisors, and experts and establishes and maintains relationships with counterparts in government, multi-lateral and bilateral donor agencies and civil society to address emerging issues. S/he must effectively influence counterparts from diverse backgrounds to contribute to achieving UNFPA’s mandate.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:  

Master’s degree in Sociology, Social health, population studies, public health and/or other related social science field.

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • At least 5 years’ professional experience at the national or international level in implementing Gender Equality and Women Empowerment programs
  • Work experience with women’s Group and Organizations is an added advantage
  • Excellent skills in computer/information systems
