The Programme Analyst is a Temporary Appointment post located in Sub-Office Aleppo and reports to Head of Office Programme Specialist.
The Programme Analyst assists in the design, planning and management of UNFPA’s country programme by analyzing relevant political, social and economic trends and providing inputs to project formulation and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks. The Programme Analyst assists with programme/ project implementation by using and developing appropriate mechanisms and systems and ensuring compliance with established procedures, as well as by monitoring results achieved during implementation.
You Possess
Your Knowledge and Experience
- One year of experience in development and population activities would be desirable.
Your Education:
- Advanced degree in health, population, demography;
- And/or other related social science field;
Your Languages:
- Fluency in English is required;

Depending on the duty station, a working knowledge of another UN language such as French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese or Russian may be required.
