The incumbent is responsible for managing co-financing contributions and regular resource contributions, including the application of these contributions in the contracts module. The incumbent is responsible for supporting data analysis and research related to public sector donors and nurturing donor relations. This includes administration of agreement fund codes, maintaining databases on various fund management issues, corresponding and answering queries from budget holders, assisting the RM Specialist in donor consultations, reporting and in drafting routine correspondence to donors.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of secondary school education. College/Bachelor’s Degree level courses in economics/social issues and/or business administration is highly desirable; specialized, formal training in administration and/or finance is required;
- 6 years’ experience working on administration and finance management. Familiarity with UNFPA’s programming and financial regulations, rules and procedures is an advantage;
- High proficiency in the use of spreadsheets, data analysis, word processing and computerized accounting systems is required;
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and experience in troubleshooting data problems is an advantage;
- Excellent written and communication skills, specifically the ability to translate financial and numerical data into reasoned arguments, is an advantage;
- Fluency in English is required. Excellent command in either French or Spanish is desirable;
- Candidate must pass the UNGGST/ASAT to be appointed to this position.
