The UNAIDS Inter-Agency Task Team (IATT) on HIV and Young People was created in 2001 to support an accelerated, harmonized and expanded global, regional and country-level response to increase young people's utilization of HIV prevention, treatment, and care services.
A series of seven Guidance Briefs has been developed by the task team. They aim to help decision makers (including development practitioners, governments donors and civil society organizations) understand what needs to be done, based on the latest global evidence on effective interventions for young people. The Briefs will be published in all six UN languages.
