Investing in Young People

This desk review, based on evaluations of ten country programmes from five regions, aims to inform programming on young people. The document includes preliminary conclusions that suggest areas for further study and analysis. Focus areas for the review include:

• Programming on policies/laws related to young people's rights and needs
• Young people ‘s programming in humanitarian settings
• Evidence-based comprehensive sexuality education (both formal and informal)
• Programming of sexual and reproductive health services for young people
• Effective participation of young people and their organizations in policy and programming
• Addressing gender-related issues pertaining to adolescent girls' specific needs, including the eradication of harmful practices
